Podcasts

I love hearing authors speak about new or old titles. I'm wondering if I'll be able to find any as podcasts. They always insipire me to read. If there were some, perhaps they could be listened to in reading groups in the library. Many older folk (members) don't have access or knowledge of this technology.

Podcasts

Only just had a look at podcasts. What a fantastic idea. How many times have I caught the end of a very interesting radio or TV programme. I am unable to view podcasts at work and hope I will be able to download necessary programme at home. Then I wish for an ipod for Mother's day and driving to work will now be fun. I hope!!!

Wikis

I have been struggling a little with the previous subjects, although Flickr was fun. Wikis are easy in comparison. We already use Wikis in our library. I find the best part is that important information from staff emails are saved there. So once I have deleted them from my Outlook inbox, I know where they can be found when needed in the future.

Sneezing panda

Soon I will be off to China. In Google video I found this cute short film of a baby panda sneezing. Have a look.

Adventures with Flickr

I love photography and travel and so, am having fun with Flickr. Would like to have more spare time to see more photos.
I just did a search on Germany and found a photo of my favourite castle- Burg Eltz.
